Celebrancy is a time based occupation, which incorporates, research, writing words, performance of the ceremony, legal lodgements and other paperwork as implicated and travel.
The time I devote to planning your special ceremony from beginning to end incorporates at least ten hours of my time, and sometimes much more. Listed below is how I spend that time and the other services I offer in preparing your ceremony. Certain aspects are undertaken for each ceremonial event offered on this website, with the exclusion of the legal component required for a lawful wedding in Australia.
The Initial Interview - this is always obligation free, we have a detailed discussion on what you would like to have happen on the day. Using a Civil Celebrant allows you a certain amount of freedom in the planning of your special ceremony. For a wedding certain words must be spoken by Law, and can be incorporated into the planning of the ceremony.
Research and resourcing suitable verses to suit your occasion.
Developing and planning the order of your ceremony.
Writing the words that reflect your feeling and commitment you have for each other
Completion, lodgement and registration of the legal paperwork as required under law for a Civil Marriage
Information offered on Relationship Counselling as required by the Attorney General's Department for a Marriage
Preparation of your presentation certificates to suit the occasion
Presentation copy of your ceremony to keep
Rehearsal for your wedding if required at a mutually agreed time and place
Travel to the venue with preparation time before the commencement of your ceremony
Performance of your ceremony in a professional manner
Provision of PA system for the ceremony
Communication costs through email, telephone, postage, stationary
Follow up post ceremony
An additional fee is charged for travel in excess of 60 kilometres return from my postcode 4179
At risk situations - such as Hot Air Balloon, Costume Hire for themed events, and the cost of Air travel and accommodation to remote locations.
